Look Fors: A Guide to Identifying the Key Elements of a Global Classroom is a document designed to support teachers, administrators, and curriculum leaders in recognizing and fostering global education-based learning. The document is aligned with the North Carolina Professional Teaching Standards. It is intended to be a non-evaluative tool for informal observations, peer feedback, lesson planning, walk-throughs, and/or documenting one’s global education growth. Additionally, it can be modified to align with each content area’s NC Standard Course of Study (NCSCOS).

Classrooms are also becoming more global. Therefore, there is a growing need for educators to develop global competencies in themselves and their students.

About Me

I taught Multilingual Learners and Students with Special Needs at Clear Creek Elementary for the last 7 years in Hendersonville, NC. However, in 2025-26, I will be teaching at the Henderson County Career Academy at our Innovative High Schools.
